One ULTRAponics Fill and one Drain is required for each DIY GroTube hydroponic system if you plan to use the Flood or Flood/Drip Method of hydroponics. If you don’t want to use the Flood Method and will only be using the Drip Method, you need this one Fill to be used as the drain to drain the nutrient fluid back to the reservoir. It sounds a little counterintuitive, but this shorter Fill allows the nutrient to drain from the hydroponic system when only the DRip Method is used or when the reservoir pumps turn off during the Flood Method. If using the Flood Method, this is the part that will connect to the pump in the reservoir via one Tee or Elbow, depending on the position of each DIY GroTube within the multi- DIY GroTube hydroponic system.
